Beginner’s Guided Meditation
November 12 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm
welcome – let us start by saying – meditation is fun 🙂
for the month of July we are focusing on detaching and letting during meditation.
“detaching here is used to refer to the state of disconnecting from, your surroundings, external factors, and your thoughts. with a conscious practice of letting go of thought impressions – with a dedicated practice – you will gain the benefit of resting in a state of peace and calm regardless of whatever thoughts appear to you. this practice can be carried over into your daily life, as you learn to be unbothered by daily arising situations and negative thoughts.”

adapting a mindfulness practice is crucial and packed with benefits that will promote, foster, and maintain health and well-being for your mental, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual bodies.
join us for this beginners’ meditation series where you will learn how to relax your mind and body – and enter into a state of calm, peace, and clarity. you will also learn how to add meditation as a daily practice without feeling like you are sacrificing valuable time. do note, that even as we say, “sacrificing valuable time” – we want you to explore and discover for yourself that adapting a mindfulness practice – such as meditation – can be the best use of your time. want to hear a secret? practicing meditation daily – even if only 15 minutes – can help you better manage and regain valuable time that which is currently being misallocated.
meditation is not difficult – nor is it something to fear. once you sit in silence of the mind, stillness of the body, and concentrate on a singular thing – you are on your way to having a beautiful and effective mindfulness session. what if thoughts come up during meditation? it is simple really… notice the thoughts without judgement of whether it is taking away from your practice and without the need to explore it immediately, and bring your focus back to the single point of concentration.
try it for yourself and discover all the benefits meditation has to offer… we will guide you along the way.
