DAY 18 (NOV 24): GRATITUDE RITUAL
Over the past days, we’ve worked together to cultivate and nurture gratitude, allowing it to fill our hearts and minds, becoming the warmth that soothes our souls and brightens our inner light. Today, I want to emphasize the importance of integrating gratitude into our daily lives—not just as a practice, but as a core way of being. As we near the end of this 21-Day journey, today’s focus is on helping you establish a gratitude ritual—a regular practice that will allow you to embody gratitude in every moment. Day 18’s focus is Gratitude Ritual.
This ritual could be lighting a candle as part of your nightly gratitude reflection on the things for which you are grateful; saying a prayer; morning affirmations; gratitude meditation; gratitude walk being thankful for the things around you and for peaceful moments; journaling about moments that came into your life for which you are grateful. Any of these rituals can be carried out daily – every other day, or weekly; choose an interval for which to practice, choose a place and time (example: morning or before bed), create an atmosphere of sacredness (incorporate candle, incense, relaxing music), reflect on what you are thankful for- being present and allowing in the feelings of gratitude in your heart and mind, and set an intention for your day or week ahead at the end of your ritual. Make it sacred and fun – enjoy!
